Two available grants: the Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grant and the Victorian Rural Landholder Grant

The recent floods in Victoria have caused significant damage to many primary producers in the region, leading to substantial financial losses. To help in the recovery of these affected businesses, the government is offering two grant options: the Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grant and the Victorian Rural Landholder Grant.

The Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grant is intended for those whose primary source of income comes from producing primary products. This grant is specifically designed to assist primary producers in recovering from the damages caused by the floods and getting their business back on track. The funds can be used to cover a range of expenses, including cleaning up debris, repairing infrastructure and equipment, and restocking livestock.

On the other hand, the Victorian Rural Landholder Grant is aimed at supporting landholders whose primary production is not their main source of income. The funds can be used for various purposes, such as repairing fences, purchasing equipment, and improving infrastructure.

The deadline for both grants is April 30th, 2023. Therefore, if you’re eligible and interested in receiving financial aid, it’s crucial to act quickly and apply before the deadline to avoid missing out on this opportunity.

In summary, if you’re a primary producer in Victoria who has suffered from the recent floods, you have two grant options available to assist in your recovery: the Victorian Primary Producer Flood Recovery Grant and the Victorian Rural Landholder Grant. Ensure you consider which grant suits your situation best and apply before the deadline of April 30th, 2023, to receive the financial support you need to get your business back on track.
